A Fair Price
We do not price our projects by the square foot. That is not a fair or reasonable method. The price per foot depends on the level of finish on the inside and outside of your new home, placement of your new home on the lot, foundation type, etc. most of which will be determined by you.
There are two types of pricing models that we use: percentage based and fee based.
Percentage Model:
used when the builder obtains and assumes the risk of the loan for the project.
Fee Model:
used when the client obtains and assumes the risk of the loan (or is paying cash) for the project.
Both models vary depending on the size,scope and duration of the project and can be negotiated.
The Fee based model is the most cost effective model for a customer wanting to build a custom home on their land. It is a fixed cost that does not change relative to the many material and labor costs associated with building a home.
A price for your new home can be given once the builder has been supplied with a set of working licensed plans from your architect or a licensed stock plan of your choice.
